At Hardly Perfect Design, we recently had the incredible opportunity to be part of the annual Down Syndrome Network’s Holiday Party. It was more than an event for us; it was a celebration of creativity, community, and the joy of giving back. We set up our booth with a heart full of excitement, ready to showcase our handmade treasures to an audience that holds a special place in our hearts.
Crafting Connections: From Tumblers to Ornaments
Our booth was a burst of color and creativity, featuring a range of handmade delights. From holiday tumblers and mugs to intricately beaded bracelets, cozy shirts and hoodies, stylish tote bags, and festive ornaments, each item carried the essence of Hardly Perfect Design. Crafting these pieces brought us immense joy, and seeing them find new homes at the event was truly heartwarming.
Dancing, Flyers, and Heartfelt Connections
Our ambassador of joy, Nohea, danced her heart out and spread smiles with every step. She energetically handed out flyers, sharing the story of our small business with everyone she met. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, dance, and the warmth of genuine connections. Being part of such an inclusive and supportive event reminded us why we love what we do.

We took a pause in our second year due to our mom's illness, a challenging time that reinforced the importance of family and perseverance. Now, in 2023, we're delighted to be back, dreaming bigger and working harder to make those dreams a reality.
